Crawglock would have killed my Iguadium but Alpint and Llamarsh were more than capable of handling Crawglock. I think people who will truly struggle with Stella are people who aren't using diverse teams. Magnitogre had no response to Iguadium's Arm Thrusts and I was able to whittle down the Iron Giant's HP with that while forcing it to waste time on Recycling its Sitrus Berry. The star of the show though was definitely Iguadium. I was underleveled slightly and really the only time I got worried was with Crawglock when it set up Focus Energy on its first turn. Maybe I lucked out because Crawglock missed a Mirror Shot on my Llamarsh, and Anvelid didn't use Forge Press on my Rocano, but Stella wasn't that bad at all. There's still the possibility for additional little fun events and things which aren't part of the main plot to be worked in, but we've completed the biggest and most contentious part, and that was the part which we needed to have complete in order to know which parts go where.Ĥ4KB, 510x410px Too many puns from Stella. The final level of detail comes as we get to that part of the game and have the area and the specifics figured out more thoroughly and it's fresh in our minds. So no individual words, no "this character starts the event on this tile then walks to this tile" and location may be as non-specific as "this city" or "this route". We know the important points that the dialogue should cover and what exactly should be done that might need to be animated and where it goes in the region, just not the exact details of the presentation.

To elaborate, there's not a full script with all the dialogue and detailed description of where people stand or what animations play, but every plot event is planned. It should be recoded.įixed being able to battle trainers in the Dronia and Andante Gyms after beating the Gym Leader.įixed fucking shadows in Quaver causing a softlock.Īdded in some preliminary events to the Ranch, allowing for access to the upper level once the trough is moved.Ĭamper on Route 5 no longer has an illegal Alpint.įixed an issue with Alpint’s backsprite having a random white pixel floating in it.Ĭhanged Sofia’s hair in the trchar001, girl_fish_offset, girl_bike, and girl_run charsets per Imported psybeam’s animation (psybolt) for now.įixed Northington’s house being an ethereal void.įixed event in Dronia Scrapyard being left in from testing.įixed following forms not working by including Graphics\Characters\form overworlds in. It's not fun, it's tedious.Ĭan confirm, my computer runs games way better looking than this at 90+ FPS but I get massive frame drops outside of battles and buildings. If I had some tools to help deal with these things it would be nice but as is you have to basically just bash your sub-par level-up sets against their competitive style play. Last time I felt like a game hated me this much I was playing Dark Souls. I'm all for difficulty, but the game is so obviously stacked against you I would almost call it sadistic. Shield Bash seems kind of broken since it turns defensive tanks into sweepers. Both gym leaders so far have been specifically equipped with moves to directly counter the starters. The ONLY way to deal with Spikes this early is to keep a Capig with Rapid Spin, something you're not going to know if you play blind, and will have to go back a considerable distance to obtain and then train up to proper level. If you ever want to help make the rest, post your Discord. Playtime is 8-10 hours and goes for 3 gyms. On it, you'll find a link to the download, along with the feedback and bug report surveys.
